Morning procession to mark Bhanu Jayanti

Kathmandu, July 13 (RSS): A morning procession was organised here today to mark the 205th birth anniversary of pioneer poet and national luminary Bhanubhakta Acharya today.
Floral tributes were also paid to the Nepali language pioneer poet at his bust at local Bhanu Secondary School, Ranipokhari. The programme was organised by Bhanu Pratishthan. Before this, the procession passed through various places in the city.
Chancellor of Nepal Academy Ganga Prasad Uprety among other distinguished persons garlanded the statue of the late poet on the occasion.
The Madan Bhandari Art and Literature Academy is organising a three-day Himvatkhanda Art and Literature Conclave here today in commemoration of the Bhanu Jayanti. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the conclave.
