Dhading, Nov 11 (RSS):Two pedestrians were killed after being hit by a gas tanker here today. The deceased have been identified as Gita Nepali, 35, and her daughter Sunita, 21, of Benighat Rorang-5, the District Police Office (DPO), Dhading said. The two injured in the accident died in course of treatment, DPO’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Kumar Mahato confirmed.
According to the police, the Indian gas bullet (UP 75 AJ 5208) fell some 20 meter down the road after striking the mother and daughter at Bishaltar of Benighat Rorang municipality-5 along the Prithvi Highway. The driver is under the police control. Until the filing of this report, police were making efforts with the help of a technical team to prevent the gas leakage from the bullet.
